Finayster: the sales and digital approach that transforms your business

I wanted to do this session today to talk about two companies called Finelis and Alayster. I’m going to explain why it makes sense to associate my company with Caroline’s on different projects.

In fact, I want to tell you about a collaboration that could well be a game-changer for your company: Finayster. Imagine a power duo bringing together Finelis and Alayster, two companies specializing in business development and digital marketing.

This alliance isn’t just a fusion of skills, it’s a true synergy that promises to revolutionize your business approach.

Meeting and beginning of the collaboration Finelis + Alayster = Finayster

Let’s start by introducing ourselves before we get into the project and how we started this collaboration.

Alayster was born four years ago, while Finelis was created in 2009.

Last year, I was doing a lot of production work and already had quite a few customers. But I thought, this is all great, but do I have a single minute to find new customers?

Searching for an outsourcing company to find new customers

And the answer was a resounding “no”. I didn’t have a single minute to find new ones. And with anxiety mounting, I began to search the Internet for outsourced services to fulfill this mission.

And among the 1ᵉʳˢ search results, I came across Finelis. I browse the site, it seems coherent, the offers are apparently well framed. I didn’t look in too much detail that day, but I still spent a good 10 minutes on the site. And I filled in the little contact form

Synergies between the two companies

It wasn’t long before the two of us arranged a meeting. Obviously, as an introduction to this meeting, you ask me what Alayster does. You want to know the details, my customers, my strategy, a whole lot of things.

After 15 minutes of conversation, you tell me that you might be interested in what I do. And then I knew that you wouldn’t be able to provide me with this outsourced service.

Eventually, we started working together, but more as Alayster clients. Since then, we’ve been working together on your websites and many other projects.

The complexity of today’s market

For my part, I’ve also seen the complexity of the market with customers. Sometimes, suppliers become customers, customers become suppliers, historical partners become customers.

We sometimes work to help a partner for one of his customers. The customer is very happy to talk to us, and the partner is very happy too. Finally, everything is becoming more complex, and that’s what agility is all about, not just commercial agility.

For years with Finelis, the challenge hasn’t been to find the best sales or closing experts. That’s the consulting and coaching part. At a pinch, if we have a closing expert, we’ll do some coaching or training on closing, but that’s still consulting.

The importance of agility and authenticity

I think it’s agility that’s important: having people who are agile, but really with a capital A, who can manage a project. Indeed, managing a project today is complex.

And what I really appreciate about Alayster, when you present your project to me, is its coherence, sincerity, and authenticity.

When we start a commercial project, and you know this very well, we spend a lot of time understanding what the customer really wants. We’re going to ask ourselves what their level of agility or digitalization is.

When it comes to sales prospecting today, should we use channels like email, the telephone, LinkedIn? Everything is becoming complex. And what we’re in the process of doing, at least both of us, with our companies, is really to simplify things, the elements for end customers

Understanding the Finayster customer profile

When it comes to defining typical Finayster customers, it’s crucial to understand their journey and their specific needs. In Alayster’s early days, the ideal customer was often an entrepreneur in the process of transition, aged between 30 and 50. This was someone with a solid core business, but little awareness of the breadth of digital skills needed to thrive in an increasingly digital environment.

A typical example might be an employee who, after 20 years with a company, decides to move into a totally new field, such as robotics. This kind of transition is complex, because even if the core business remains essential, mastery of digital tools becomes indispensable. Faced with this challenge, there are two options: either undergo lengthy training to acquire these skills or delegate these tasks to experts.

Customer challenges

Entrepreneurs often try to manage everything themselves, from website development to social networking. But they end up overwhelmed, with an outdated, poorly functioning site and an ineffective digital strategy.

This is where Finayster comes in: these clients, having gained ground in their core business, no longer have the time to take care of their online presence. As an expert, Finayster understands their difficulties, having gone through the same stages, and offers comprehensive solutions tailored to their needs.

The key to success lies in a deep understanding of these customers and their challenges, well beyond technical services. A company that doesn’t understand its customer risks providing an inadequate service, even if its skills are equivalent. It’s this in-depth understanding of the issues that sets Finayster apart.

The importance of knowing your customer

Knowing your customer is fundamental to any web agency. It’s inconceivable to design a website or digital communications strategy without a thorough understanding of the client.

What sets Finayster apart is the regularity and consistency of the support we provide.

Indeed, rather than delivering a website and moving on, Finayster is committed to a long-term collaboration, where projects are constantly evolving.

Every week, an update is made according to the customer’s needs and new market trends.

Long-term support

A web project has no definite end. Contrary to common practice, where site creation is often seen as a final stage, Finayster sees each site as a project that is constantly being redesigned. This approach enables clients to adapt to the rapid evolution of the digital sector, while ensuring that their platform remains high-performance and modern.

Staying ahead of trends

In an environment where everything is becoming increasingly complex – SEO, content, tools like ChatGPT, and cutting-edge technologies – Finayster makes sure it stays up to date with the latest innovations. Design and technical aspects must constantly evolve to meet the expectations of customers and prospects.

This ongoing monitoring ensures that customers are not content with a simple web showcase, but with a high-performance, agile tool that is tailored to their business development.

Understanding your customer

The adaptability of websites to new technologies

In a constantly evolving environment, the question is how a digital project can adapt to the rapid changes in new technologies. It’s not just a question of delivering a functional, aesthetically pleasing site at a given moment, but ensuring that it continues to evolve over time, incorporating new trends and innovations.

A constantly evolving service

The key to ensuring this flexibility lies in our long-term approach. Finayster offers progressive evolution, at no extra cost, throughout the contract.

For example, if a site is designed today with a blue design because it’s the trend of the moment, but six months later a new trend becomes more relevant to the customer’s business, adjustments can be made easily. This approach avoids initial errors of judgment and allows the strategy to be adjusted over time, without pressure.

Test, make mistakes, evolve

It’s also essential to allow customers to make mistakes and experiment. For those retraining after years in another sector, it’s natural to want to test ideas that, in the end, may not be the best ones. With Finayster, these mistakes are not a hindrance, but an opportunity for continuous improvement, thanks to an adaptable and responsive service.

Finelis Coaching’s typical client profile

Since 2009, Finelis customers have mainly been SMEs and VSEs, often in the B2B sector, with small teams ranging from 10 to 100 people. Despite their small size, these companies have considerable growth ambitions, whether to expand into new markets or broaden their product offering.

In general, they already have a proven product or technology in their home market, and are looking to expand internationally or conquer new sectors.

Visionary but busy managers

Finelis customers are characterized by managers with a strong entrepreneurial profile. These are people who have innovated and succeeded in their field, but who haven’t always had the time to structure their company by creating distinct marketing or sales departments.

These managers have often had to move quickly to meet the demands of their first customers, but then have to refocus to structure their development and align their strategic priorities.

The key to competitiveness: agility and relevance

Although smaller, these SMEs are in direct competition with much larger companies, sometimes ten or a hundred times larger. To stand out from the crowd, they need extreme agility and commercial intelligence

This is where Finelis comes in: by offering solutions tailored to the realities of these companies, particularly in lead generation, sales follow-up, and sales closing. The Finelis model, based on agility and responsiveness, enables these SMEs to compete effectively with much more structured competitors.

The importance of people and agility

One of Finelis’ key strengths is the human factor. Customers appreciate working with professional, friendly and responsive teams. In a context where technology is evolving at breakneck speed, it’s essential to have partners who understand both the technological tools and the human needs to deliver agile, competitive projects.

This is what sets Finelis apart in the market, in the face of larger but sometimes less flexible agencies.

Launch of Finayster: an innovative digital sales solution

In our business, project management is often a real challenge, especially when it comes to finding competent, loyal, and committed employees. Whether in France or abroad, it’s hard to maintain a constant commitment within teams.

Many large groups face the same problem: a significant proportion of their employees are demotivated, and recruitment is often complex. However, with our approach, we have managed to avoid this situation, by working with motivated and efficient freelancers.

Understanding customer needs for success

One of the main reasons for the success of our projects is our ability to understand customers’ specific needs, and to offer them a competent and relevant contact. Technical managers, for example, prefer to talk to professionals who have mastered their field, rather than salespeople.

This need for authenticity and understanding is at the heart of our offering and is what makes our collaboration with Alayster so relevant.

Finayster: a comprehensive, flexible offering

The Finayster offering is unique in the market. We offer an integrated service combining marketing, digital marketing, and scalable website creation, while including aspects such as SEO and content coaching.

This synergy enables our customers to remain agile and competitive, while benefiting from a comprehensive, scalable solution. We are convinced that Finayster will meet the needs of companies looking for fast, effective and motivating solutions for their sales teams.
